Kathleen Valley Hybrid Power Station

Project Background

The Kathleen Valley Project is a lithium mining operation led by Liontown Resources. The project focuses on integrating a hybrid power solution that maximises renewable energy usage to support the energy-intensive mining process, reflecting Liontown’s commitment to sustainability.

“I have had the pleasure of working with Mark and the ATEC team over the past two years on a number of very large multi-disciplinary infrastructure pursuits in the renewable sector.

Mark is currently playing a key role as Project Director on the Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Scheme ECI. His collaborative nature, technical acumen, innovative approach, attention to detail and leadership of the team has, to date, been instrumental in the successful development of this project.

Additionally, we have engaged ATEC to assist with a strategic review of the renewable energy
market and assessment of the pipeline within NSW. Through Mark’s extensive network and
introductions to key experts in the industry ACCIONA has been able to successfully develop and implement a comprehensive and targeted strategy for this sector.

On a personal note, I can say that Mark is clearly a ‘values’ driven individual. This is consistently demonstrated through his integrity and professionalism when undertaking any role or task asked of him.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mark and his team for future opportunities.”
